"Endless Journey" (also known as "Three Teams") is a crime film starring Zhang Yi, with special appearances by Li Chen, Wei Chen, Cao Bingkun, Wang Xiao, and Zhang Zixian. It is directed by Dai Mo and written by Zhang Ji. The film was released in mainland China on December 15, 2023.
The story revolves around a suspect who is accused of rape and murder and dies in the interrogation room after being beaten by the public. The captain of the Three Teams, Cheng Bing (played by Zhang Yi), is also imprisoned, while another suspect remains at large. After his release, the Three Teams, led by Captain Cheng, spend twelve years pursuing the fugitive and eventually assist the police in capturing the suspect.
